1 dead, 2 wounded in Garland shooting, police say

No arrests have been made in connection with a shooting that killed one person and injured two in Garland early Sunday, according to police.
Police responded to a call on the 2600 block of West Walnut Street near Shiloh Road just after 12:30 a.m., according to a news release. They found three people with apparent gunshot wounds, police said.
All three were taken to a hospital, where one person was pronounced dead, according to the release. Another person was in critical condition, police said.
The identities of those who were shot have not been released.
